HospiScript does not promote a “one-size-fits-all” approach when it comes to pharmacies; we will customize a solution around your needs. Our Pharmacy Relations Team will work with you to maximize discounts and help reduce costs across a range of options that leverage our network of more than 60,000 pharmacies while integrating the specialized services of independent pharmacies in your local community. We also offer the convenience of mail service.

HospiScript’s HospiMail™ Network provides clients with the added value and convenience of mail order prescriptions while offering even deeper medication discounts than local retail pharmacies can offer. Our mail order service can meet all of your medication needs (including compounding) or serve as a valuable supplement to your local pharmacy partnerships.

e-Rx Prescribing Capable

At the end of 2010, more than 34 percent of the nation's prescribers were actively managing prescriptions electronically and 25 percent of prescriptions were transmitted electronically. To put those numbers into perspective, consider that in 2004 approximately 0.4 percent of prescribers sent 0.001 percent of prescriptions electronically. Simply put, e-prescribing is well on its way to becoming a mainstream practice .

HospiScript currently accepts claims that come from all types of commercially available e-Rx prescribing software devices (i.e. computer, tablet, mobile handheld) in a secure and automated process which is in real time. Year to date, we are one of the leaders in managing e-Rx claims and have processed over 61,000 e-Rx claims in over 44 states, through then end of October 2011.
